Titanium chemically bonds with glass and leaves a permanent mark... like the Ti pen. This would not be a good material for a glass tool of any sort... imo.

Like I said before, they have fixed internal jaws so adapting to them will be different than say a litton or woodland. Can you send/post a pic of the head/tail stock chuck assembly you have now? ...
