Re: What to bring...
Please bring everything you can. There are manifolds under the benches, but unfortunately I dont have enough regs and hoses for everybody.

Re: What to bring...
do you need in-line regulators or just your normal regs? Gonna try to bring it all, think i'm goin to mail my torch off tomorrow....i'm stilll nervous letting it out of my sight though! couldn't bear to go without my torch, i havent blown glass for a couple of weeks and i need to do some work! see you on Sunday!

Re: What to bring...
The only regs I have are tank regs... is it a waste to bring them? I know you're busy, so I would rather have it posted here instead of having a bunch of folks calling you and asking.

Re: What to bring...
Normal (tank) regs are what we need. The manifolds have recepticals just like your propane and oxy tanks. We keep the manifold pressure at 60 to 100 psi, and each work space can regulate down to normal working pressures.

Re: What to bring...
Its funny, I flew from Chicago to L.A. to Brisbane Australia to Adelaide Australia back to Sydney and then to L.A. where security finally said I couldn't have my torches with hoses in my checked baggage. The more I thought about it I realized the stink in the lines is from the stink thats added into the gas so you can smell it when it leaks. Doesn't propane burn pretty clean thus leaving the stink behind?

Re: What to bring...
good question. I never flew with hoses, but to blow them out through a commpressor, or at the local air fill-up station is a good idea.

Re: What to bring...
Depending on what building and what space you're working at, the hook ups are anywhere from 8 to 15 feet from the torch.

Re: What to bring...
I'm gonna have to claim one of toms pair of hoses since I'm flying...they no rikey the propane smell!

Re: What to bring...
Yeah, I'm gonna have to claim a set too... I can bring a Y and some shorties... but they prolly won't let me roll up my longer stinkies and fly with 'em.

"What to bring" resurrection bump.
I need to start my list.....

Re: What to bring...
Yep,
After reading that, I'm starting to worry about the hose lines from my torch to the foot pedal. If I'm flying and can't bring mine, does Tom have extra?
Also, does anybody slackline? I think I'll bring gear for a 40 ft. line if there are trees we can put it on.

Re: What to bring...
And some Q-tips. Right Marc?
-
Re: What to bring...
holy crap. Slackline? How cool. Good way to get your mind somewhere else for awhile.I'd like to try it if you bring the gear.
Do I need to send my torch, regs and hoses UPS to avoid this flying-with-hoses issue?
We are bringing a tent and sleeping bags, but we're gonna get a room for a few of the nights just for beauty rest and quiet escape.
