Happy 10th Anniversary Matt (for real this year)

Last year matt made a happy 10th anniversary thread when it was really only our 9th!

So this year it's really our 10th, we aren't trying to stay younger or anything hehe.

I have to congratulate myself for not killing him!

Seriously, I'm glad we've made it 10 years. There were many times I was positive we would not make it another moment, let alone year.

We watched a documentary recently about relationships and one doctor they interviewed said something like, "when things are really bad, that's when they are about to change. Most people don't make it through the change and that's tragic." I have to say I agree. I can look back over the last 10 years with Matt and say that making it through those things you want to throw the towel in over, are the things that bring you closer and strengthen your relationship. Hopefully knowing that and keeping that in mind will make it easier for me the next time I want to kill him.

So baby, happy anniversary. Thanks for never wanting to throw in the towel when I did, standing by me even when I threw shit your way, and loving me through it all. You're the best wife (and husband hehe) a girl could have.

(and that's about as romantic as this smart ass bitch can get

I'm sure matt could have written something more fitting for an anniversary thread, but he blew it last year so I had to give it a go!

I can relate to the tough times, but if you make it through them you're all the more strong for it!

Happy Anniversary Misha. I've been married for 22 years, together for 30, so their will be more shit and towels, but its worth it.

Their really is a mid-life crisis, but that will come to pass to when your my age.

Hope you two have many more.

Thanks you guys. I think any relationship has tough times and towels. I think things solidify when you actually commit to not throwing in the towel, which was harder than I thought, but as you said, worth it.

Mid life crisis huh...thanks for giving me something to look forward to, Steve. I thought I had mine a couple years ago when Matt was having his surgery. I'm not fully recovered from that yet so if there's something worse than that coming my way, life can keep it. That's right! I'm writing off the mid life crisis right now! It can't have me!

I wish I would have thought about that ahead of time and had you make us a set of goblets. Maybe next year.

But we didn't totally forget...Matt gave me roses, and we bought each other tree paintings hehe. Tonight we're going to dinner and then to see Subatomic with some friends. Check out their music! We found them at Art in the Pearl last month and loved them. It's great that they just happen to be playing on our anniversary (and even more of a miracle that we found a babysitter!
