On April 12 & 13, 2008, Glass artist Sally Prasch will return to teach a two-day lampworking class at Museum Glassworks, the teaching studio of The National Bottle Museum in Ballston Spa, NY.

Sally Prasch started working in glass in 1970 with Lloyd Moore. She has received her BFA, Applied Science and Scientific Glass Technology degrees. She has taught flameworking at Pilchuck Glass School; Stanwood, WA; Urban Glass, Brooklyn, NY; Penland School of Crafts, Penland NC; Public Glass, CA; University of Michigan, Dearborn, MI; Niijima Glass Art Center, Japan; Snow Farms, Williamsburg, MA; and Worcester Center for Crafts, Worcester MA. Sally has found glass to be a limitless media for expression, showing flexibility, sound, sharpness, size, and movement. Sally works both scientific and artistic glass and her work is shown worldwide. She is currently the resident scientific glassblower at Syracuse University.
