Re: Rollcall - introduce yourself!
Hi everyone:
I'm new to lampwork I carve ostrich eggs and do stained glass work so this is something I have thought a lot about learning and incorporating into my existing art techniques. Wow... I'm like a kid in a candy store lol. Can't wait to learn all I can about this.

Re: Rollcall - introduce yourself!
ContemporaryKid: My name is Jeramy and I live in Charleston Illinois. I have been doing glass, flat and hot for about a year and a half. I got started in this because of a motorcycle wreck left me without the use of my left wrist. It cannot move at all. I am 26 years old and plan on never to stop doing glass. I frequint the marble shows and some local art fairs. I have a partner in crime and her name is Delilah Davis. We are not related or together in anyway except for business. We are just realy good friends. Useally good times follow us around and everyone around us. If anyone went to Sistersville last year you already know that we bring it to the party and the party brings it back to us. If I had a quote for you out there it would be this: "You never stop learning till your dead"

Re: Rollcall - introduce yourself!
Spider - much easier than my old german name - 25 years lampworking, & some casting & coldworking. Rasmussen was over at Gharidelli Square,San Francisco -& Good old Merlin and his dad - but I was more intrigued with what Frabel & the Hoopers were doing. Going beyond the gift shop standards. Marvin Lipofsky (Sp?) at CCAC & my good friend Latchezar Boyadiev really added to the excitement working with glass in Nor Cal.
