I like to do it in the day... although when i first started i liked to do it at the night.

early in the summer, late in the winter.

I'm not usually productive until around 10 or so at night...
If it doesn't blur together, you're not working hard enough.
i would love to work in the day. but i cant. i normally dont get on til later at night. if i beer, i either dont work or i beer very slowly as i have no tolerance. cant stay up too late cause the kids are up 7:30 every day.
and it does blur together, as i never get enough sleep to consider it more than a nap so i guess im on top of that one!
blurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Night without a doubt. I have a day job but even on the weekends I prefer nighttime. Something about it is just more peaceful. Plus I live in South Florida so you can easily fill up a 5 gal bucket of sweat during the day. Its not the heat its the humidity.

I work both. I like the early mornings (I'm up always at 6am) in the summer and the evenings in the summer. Fall and winter I like the day better, but usually I don't get to choose.. the amount of work chooses for me

I like to work real long days for like 7-10 days in a row. and then take a week off and play. or sit around and do nothing but drink beer and smoke cigs with my friends.
I'm a slow typer...........a so-so writer
been the shit ever since I was an infant in diapers
I didnt see the "last minute" choice . Damn I procrastinate like hell . I have pulled many a all nught and day gig , just to get the order done , and barely have time to anneal everything . even been late waiting for the kiln .
last min for sure, or whatever part of day is closest to 60 degrees......
Night. Pretty much always. Even when I try to get on days I just end up staying up later and later till I'm back to nights again. Just seems to be my natural schedule I've quit trying to fight it.
Lately it's been most of my time awake blow, sleep. Tring to bring my game up a notch
This is my ,method as well. I work till I am exausted, pass out sleep till whenever (no clox here, thanx) get up go do it again for a week or two then I take a week off at which point I do absolutly nothing out side sleep and play in my other studio, which is full of buttons and knobs and instruments of all shapes and fashions.
I prefer to start in the morning but it never stays like that, I'll get up at 7, and be at the shop by 8-ish, but I might work till midnight, so the next day I wake up, @ like 9 or 1o. Invaribly The cycle always leads to me waking up at 5 pm.
Its hard to have a set schedual when you work 17 hours and sleep 10 you just stay on a weird rotation
BLLLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRR
I try to start around noon, but then I don't really get cooking until around 4 or so, then stick with it until midnight or 1am... that works pretty good for me.
But if the groove is off, I just drink, sleep, take the kids to school, and try again. Good thing I work for myself.

"Free Your Mind, and Your Glass Will Follow"
I always finish in the dark. 10pm, 2am, depends on how I feel. When I start depends on a lot of things. If I have to do something in the "real" world, well then they all keep hours. And in the summer, I switch to nights. When the kids are in school, I start at 9am but with all of lifes little things, I [U]have to[U] work all day just to call myself productive.
My wife and I were just talking about this. I like to work at night....or start in the afternoon and work well into the night. The question was "when do you prefer to do glass"...so I answered that way....but the reality is, with the current schedule I have going, I hardly ever get to work during the timeframe I want. Getting up at 6am to take the kids to school kinda puts a damper on staying up until 3am working on the torch. I gotta figure out a way to get back to my old schedule, it was much more satisfying for me.
Where is the option for "whenever I'm awake"?
I end up working mostly at night, but I like to work during the day when I can. I open the windows and door of my building and let in the sunlight. It's completely different working in sunlight.
