wow..another Zombie thread?
Anyway.. This is my full time life. I'm on the torch by 9am everyday, and quit around 8pm or so, since I'm getting old and the wifey likes to see me. I also, if my life permits, usually put in a half day on Saturdays and Sundays.
So not counting phone calls, emails, cleaning, organizing, unpacking raw materials, going to the bank, sketchin up stuff, staring into space, and other life crap like mowing the lawn, finishing laundry, cleaning the house....
Realistically, about 40-50 hours a week. I'm almost making a decent living at this game.
i miss read the poll, thought it was per week not per month. I'm lucky enough to be employed as a full time scientific glassblower 35hr a week, i do about another 10-15 hrs pipe and art/decorative stuff a week in my spare time when the wife lets me.
ya same here i put 40-50, thinking it was per week, lol.
I do 160 hours a month at the moment but nothing exciting(only my scientific work) . Looking at doing some of my own work so will be doing a lot more hours soon.
3 tanks of 80 cf a week...I'd like to make it four at least since I don't have a job now.
Don't trouble Trouble unless Trouble troubles You!
when i had a torch before i moved south at least 30-40 hrs a week. whenever i wasnt workin my other job
15 hour days are normal for me this time of year.... got to get it while it's good. but i usually take off the month of august and part of january so it all works out.
usually its 50hr weeks
Every waking hour son, every waking hour. If I am not melting glass I am networking, chasing babies, building boxes or delivering the goods. Never enough hours in the day. Being stone sober makes it seem like there are more hours in the day... I am amazed how much time I used to waste on going to bars and taking smoke breaks.

70-80 hours a week here usually..
8 hours a day /7 days a week running the retail shop. 10 hours a week on the torch. Does not compute.
Ive been working more lately.. right around 40 hours a week.
I try to work from 7:00 am-5:00 pm fall, winter and spring. Summer I work until 1:00-2:00 pm. I work until the heat make me drouzie. I work most weekends too.
My doctor doesn’t want me in the heat that long in the summer anymore.
30-60 hrs a week, pretty variable

Yeah but if I had no social life I would have to work more.lol.
Working until at least 3:00 today. Ramped up the kiln at around 7:30 am.
I try to work side jobs at night. But my friend has been calling me a lot to hangout after work. I like her a lot so I have been accepting early dinner plans and stuff. ;-)
Looks like I’m leaving at 5:15.
Well I got a nice kiln full. That’s really the end.

Started at 8:30 ramped kiln up probably staying until 5:00. Weather is nicer so I can get more hours.
Been here since 7:30-8:00 warning everything up. Probably going to work until dark. Need 2 cups of coffee before I start working at the torch.
The truth is I used to be involved with a teacher. So I left her house at 6:30 am for work with her then I came home around 5:00. Now my friend works 9-5 so I do that also.
January nor’easter come in snowing today. Took 2 hours to heat up the studio. So I loose a few hours a day but I’m snowed in here today. I can probably stay late.
