Goddamn, that's bullshit! I couldn't sleep last night cause it was too hot, so the dog and I stayed up and got safety broken (well, I did) and watched videos from the essential lampworking series. I was just wondering how he was doing. Not what i was hoping to hear.

I don't know him, but I figured Na is a good trustworthy source so I posted it here as well. Totally sucks. And what balls to haul out kilns and everything.

Yeah, sounds like they cleaned out the ENTIRE shop, like moving truck and a crew style.

Someone knows something. And that amount of equipment is hard to move.

you have to be a real lowlife piece of shit to steal a persons means of putting food on the table.

    i fucking hate thieves.

i hope they find the fuckers, melt thier balls off with the torch and then stuff them in a kiln for a full anneal cycle.

The shop where i learned got robbed almost once a year. it sucked to have all of your work (and future paychecks) dissapear in an instant, but I couldnt imagine how violated i would feel if someone came into my home shop and took not only finished glass but my supplies. Someone broke into my truck around thanksgiving and took $4500 wholesale of glass and it crushed my soul for about 2 months. when they go to the extent of stealing color and tools....... either they are glassblowers who can/will use it, or are just out for serious revenge. the amount of hassle to sell stolen color by the lb.....

Has nothing to do with the thread, but nice fortune cookies. Those were fun to click for a few minutes.

I think more glass blowers need to drive pick up trucks and have NRA stickers to make some fuckers think twice. If you shoot em in the back just make sure to roll em over and shoot em in the front if they are taking off with your torch
