I have was thinking of doing the same but for most of my stuff the phantom is on point. I guess when I scale up I will just find a delta or somthing and keep the phantom. just another bump really good luck hope you find a good one!

same here. she's a sweet ride, perfect for most of the things i do. i use the center 80% of the time, only needin more for really thick stuff. the phantom will do it, jus takes a lil more time.

I love my phantom but I Was looking for this type of trade too.

Good luck. If you have loot Id suggest selling the phantom and getting a kobuki. Thats what Im planning to do. Yes the kobuki is hella expensive, but its also hella convenient.

I love the phantom flame for everything, except HUGE tube pulls. Thats where the outer ring would help out.

i couldn't afford to feed a kobuki.

when i have bigger shop and liquid o2. after i get a lathe.

You are gonna use a 250 cf tank a day using the mirage. So before gettin a mirage Id suggest liquid o2.

I wouldnt run the third stage too much anyway, just for tube pulls or huge cane or whateva.

dom how do you get liquid ox into your location? do you waddle it in with someone else? keep it outside? liquid ox is one of my dreams.... mmmmmm cheaper oxyyy.

My oxy guy waddles it in, its not hard to move it a short distance.

I am loving my Mirage on Liquid. I still have yet to run down the first tank..
I torch for about 5 hours a day 6 days a week...
I love not having to worry about running out... Now I just run out of Propane...
If it not one thing it's another...

i run my mirage on 2 252 tanks, so when my outflame kills about half the tank i switch the hoses, so the half empty is on the inner flame, i feel like it really helps with oxy use
