custom dichro images

a local band has asked me to make some stuff for them and i think the way to go is dichro images. is anybody other than abr doing this?

If you can make multiple stencils in a short amount of time you can apply them to the dichro. Then use "Acid etch" to remove the negative parts just leaving the logo in dichro. The only real issue is making the stencil cost effective. I've done it before in small numbers but ABR is probably going to be cheaper in the long run. Stencils we got in the past were made out of our local trophy shop who has a laser cutter. It wasn't that expensive, but then again we had only ten made.

I got mine from Dichroic Alchemy and they rocked but I think you have to order full sheets.

I sent several emails to Dichroic Alchemy to no avail! Are those guys even a company any more? Maybe they just didn't like my design or something but I never even got a return email or call. Etching works, but is hard to get a high detail image that is small.

I got mine from DA but you do have to order a whole sheet. What email are you sending it to Bluelily? Try Jay directly if you haven't already.

Austin Thin Films does a great job for a better price. They don't have the "best" dicro, but it's decent.
