Stand up your points open end down so the water doesn't collect inside.

Don't point the piece downward unless the part near the point is hot enough to burn off a little water.

The harder and more you blow creates the extra moisture. When popping your holes get the spot nice and hot 1st (before you puff) then it should pop easily in the flame when you give it a little puff. Try plugging the bowl hole when to pop the carb. But if you keep your mouth piece hot the blow tube will stay hot enough to sizzle any moisture before it hits. Careful with the angles you hold the piece at.

you need to put a cork in it!... ( earplug, cigarette butt exct.) in the end of the blowtube when you have the flare open, take it out right before you close up flare . (easier w blowtubes)

Are you surely melting the work all the way into the tube.....may be obvious but, I never had moisture crack a point on me, it shouldnt even be getting to the work, so I think yo umay not be heating the piece all way up and down the tube evenly or the work is just not melted in.

If the works not melted in, it may seem fine, until the moisture hits and then crizack

Just stick your piece in the kiln for a bit, thats usually enough heat to get rid of the moisture in there.

if i notice moisture in the blowtube i cap the end before putting piece in kiln.
(only if the piece has a hole in it! )
