try a few days of working just clear.... It minimizes complications. also lessons from a seasoned pro like craig/shockwave, would help a lot!

Those looks great for your first pieces! good move on getting the lynx instead of waiting even longer to begin melting. I'm impressed with how well it looks like you are working the bright colors, like red, yellow. Marbles look really round. Keep it up! Are you working with your sister or just learning on your own? I look forward to seeing how you progress over the months/years Is that the china white you used in the black/white marble? good job on not overdoing it with the silver fume. You should be proud of those creations!

yes, and Steve Sizelove's vid is a great help, watch it enough times and practice inbetweens and it will just happen naturally by itself.

Spin out your rondelle with a 6mm punty rod and the effect of it's own weight will flip it out.

I think it was BZ Glass that put up a good vid on youtube during the past couple of weeks.

Got any pics of your Sis on the torch?
    It ain't where you're from, it's where you're at.
    Really.

one of those easier for you to say it than for me to do it things. i know the theory, but in practice... well i need more practice

i will watch the utube vid tho thanks for the tips. no sister torch pics really, sorry.
