    hi i am doing it since january now and i feel tha it gets more interesting everytime i turn on my torch, here is some stuff from the weekend when i got a new bottle of oxigen, the older pics i wont show its so much crap

    an old 18.8 downstem from boost that i modified for a friend, he wanted an eyeball

    cool dude! ive been doing it since jan 13th to! stuffs lookin good! im jelous i need to order me some gong joints.. i like the combed dishes! there fun to make i need bigger tubing though my dumbass only ordered 25mm..shoulda got 32 and 40mm..lol good job keep it up and keep the pix commin

    i have a really tiny torch a phoenix, the dishes are made out of 25 mm X 2.3mm tubing

    i really want to order bigger tubing now

    oh i need to figure everything out by myself or through books here are no classes or blowers in germany, also youtube helps me a lot to understand different techniques

    phoenix? is that a GTT? 25mm tube..i got that..your dishes look pretty big, looks like i can make them bigger then i thought i could..good to see another artist thats learning solo..this site and youtube are like god lol without them id me making glass puddles all the time lol..

    no its not a gtt its a tzschech product simply a copy of an arnold torch its between the arnie and the big arnie

    Cool stuff

    If you don't mind working soft glass for a little bit to learn, head over to Lauscha for a class or two. The Lauscha glass factory is there and I think they conduct classes on doing ornaments. You can build on those skills.

    man 26 x 4mm is all you need to make oil dishes. anything bigger is overkill. i only have that size tubing too, and want some larger tubing, but for making goblets, not dishes.

    it similar to getting a drivers license i think at first youre glad to have a small tiny car but when you experienced the joy of driving you wanna have something bigger better with more horsepower haha

    i made a small goblet yesterday, it not big but big enough to take a 4cl(two shots)

    i was very stoked when it came out

    lots of snow over here gotta have to dig for bout an hour through snow and ice just to open the door of my garage, i took a big hammer and hammered for straight a half hour the ice away from the ground in front of the door
