with dichro u have to use a really oxydizing flame or it will burn out, also, if it is too close to the surface it is super easy to burn out.

When Your making your 'Fiesta' focus on making the end as perfect as you can then switch it onto another punty to clean the other termination. Ive been struggling dooing this on tube recently, its all about practice and determination to get either end as 'perfect' as you can.
When im pulling wigwags(fiestas) i melt in and stretch all of the glass evenly, it makes the wig's tighter and gives a nicer finished effect.
Ive found that Im having more sucess stretching it with a small tweaser letting it cool then snapping off where I can see no clear.

looking pretty nice If you ask me, I do some wigs on a colour base rod rather than laying it on clear, especially when im windowing the work or adding a clear lens.
When my customers are paying a healthy price for my pendants I like to give them some decent value for money.

hi the seventh from the top is based on a white rod

    the window thing.....

do you make a windowed wiggy on a tube or on a rod?

i made a poor one on a tube and inserted a spiral , in the 6th picture you can see it

still need to practice the terminations

can somreone help me with the wig wags?

how do i get the whole wiggy on the frontside of the pendant?

the design always goes around the edge to the backside

i vondensed the cane completely to a ball but when i mash it half or a fourth of the wiggy is on the back

    kind regards

Windows are done on Tube, there's a thread here somewhere
there's also a thread on wigwags & fiestas.

I angle my rod downwards work elbow up then the design condenses down todards the center so when ya mash it the terminations are in the center then spread out to the edges!

    Keep playing man!

point the flame at the shoulder of the design and work it around the front with a few marverings too.

my sister said they are not exactly the same, but very similar. one is a shrinking, whereas the other you are just bringing the image down to the end. it seems they are almost the same to me, but i think the flame angle is different, similar effect happens..
