Default Burning Brass out of tools? Source for brass reamer?

Hey, does anyone know what's up with Burning Brass? I just stopped by their to pick up a brass reamer, as I just busted my favorite graphite one, and it looks like they only do marver pads now.

Does anyone know whats up? Did they just get sick of making tools? Does anyone know of any place that makes as quality of brass stuff for near the same price?

I am not sure what is up. Jim at Burning Brass makes my tools for my classes and I just received an order so I am sure he is still in business and making tools. I did try and get to his website and was unable to get there. Seems the page is down. I am sure this will get corrected soon. I will drop Jim an email.
If you just have to have the reamer right now Artco carries a full line of Burning Brass tools.

Hmmm, that's wierd. This is the email I got back from Jim yesterday.

"Unfortunately, We have discontinued making had tools. We just weren't
selling enough. Appreciate the good word though.

I think Artco may have some of our brass hand tools left in stock.

I sent Artco an email but haven't heard back yet.

By the way Trey, it was really nice to meet you at the Milwaukee Bead and Button show. I don't know if you remember me or not, we talked for a while about concentrators and using a compressor with a storage tank, and you gave me a flier for the class you're going to be doing at the Vinery.

Hey, sure I remember you. To bad Jim decided to stop making hand tools. He does a really great job on my marver and masher.
Be sure to stop by the class in October. Maybe we can get a beer or something.
I will be sure to say hi to Denny for you Baylie!

    To bad

Trey were you in the first (may have been only) flame off at the Vinery? IF you are who I am thinking you made a wine glass with a cobalt nude for the stem? Was that you?

I'll have to thank Jim for the referral

I've been in touch with the OP, and have a reamer set aside for him. I do have a fair assortment of the Burning Brass tools still in stock (including some that aren't even on my web site), if anyone else is looking for some.

Reamer arrived in record time yesterday! Paid for it late in the day on Friday, and it was in my mail box yesterday afternoon.

Thanks Malcolm! The tool is great. My only wish for them is that they were counter weighted on the back because the brass is considerably heavier than a graphite tool of the same size. At the same time, it's a quality brass tool for under a quarter bill, so I can live without the counterweight (or make one myself at a later date).
