Re: GOG Joints??
for the slides (bowls) most people are using 14's. because the standard now is a 18 female on the tube, with a 18 > 14 transition downstem that takes a 14 slide. hopes that not confusing, but 14 for the slides.

18mm and 14mm. Stores seem to order both sizes, some more than others. Def nice to have both sizes on hand though.

Re: GOG Joints??
order the 14/23 and 19/26 males.
most production glass on glass comes with the bushing adapter/transition/ recessed downstem. these downstems have a 19/26 male, with a recessed 14/23 female set inside the downstem.
they are the most common so 14/23 males are going to sell more. that tokecity thread is relevant, but only covers the more elite glass purchasers, who prefer the 18mm bowls (19/26) because they offer a higher flow.
its good to make both, as was said above, but truthfully the 14's are more common.

Re: GOG Joints??
Well i would have guessed wrong, I assumed the 19/26 would be more prevelant because of higher flow. Im glad I asked thanks for the link and the Info yall.

Re: GOG Joints??
there are more production companies using bushing adapters than anything else. therefore the 14/23 is more compatible, and people have more of that size, but people with higher end works tend to have pieces with 19/26.
i prefer the 19/26, and its all i use on my work. i'd say make both sizes, you can't go wrong.
