Is anyone selling small quantities of it? Price?

save your point handles, and shorty scraps
use 30mm rod chunks, about 6" long. This will give you the least amount of bubbles.
When I worked there, I saw the guys at Cornerstone use a lot of different sizes and grades. I think the 30mm chunks had the cleanest outcome.

This is what I think the best bet is for clear cullet. Get the biggest rod you can find then cut it up about 4-6inchs then melt 1 pound each hour, the rods will have to be smaller after the pot gets filled higher. The reason I say 1 pound and hour is because you want the best clear possible and this is were you will get air free clear, you could do 2 lbs an hour if your furnace is turned up to 2350F. If you are just useing clear tubing scrap you need to melt it slow to not add more air to the melt. Styles thanks for the info also. If you have any questions about this fat give me a call.

Thanks everyone for the ideas....
styles, Ade... thanks for the good info.
The rods do make the most sense. That was my fear, have air incorporated by using tubing and scrap.
Off to find some large mm rod
Thank you everyone for the input.
keep your scrap clean and save it for practice melts, or your boro glory hole. nothing like messing up a perfect batch of clear on your first few attempts at figuring it all out. plus you can always dip over it with some color
