How do you fix this, when I hit the new post button I get a message saying my search needs different terms. Same results on 2 machines with IE9. Works fine on my older machine I haven't updated yet. I tried dumping the history but it didn't help.

I'm using chrome, not liking the change, gotta do dumb shit just to do normal shit. I'll be in that microsoft area on monday, I'll fill the back of my truck with cow shit and leave a deposit.

....and remembers each search id when it refreshes. Just keep clicking the link above a bunch and it'll eventually remember the getnew function. Happens in Chrome till you train it out, just mouseover the link and if it has numbers not the "getnew" its an old search link that has expired/old results.......
And what URL does it take you to when you get that message? Can someone paste that here? I don't have IE9 available to test at the moment, unfortunately (maybe fortunately, hmm...).
That's definitely unintended behavior. Holding shift while clicking reload should clear your cache and force new data from the server, but may not work if you're getting an immediate redirect. In any event, this should be fixed when we get the new forum software package.
Yet another reason to never use anything Microsoft makes. I've been running into more and more problems testing sites in IE9. I quit testing in IE6 because, honestly, if anyone still uses it, they really don't care what the sites they visit look like. But, IE9 is looking like it's going to be IE6 all over again.
I wish I could just get away from IE all together. I had to buy a PC just to run their horrible browser so I could test sites...
I Lolz throughly at IE of any version. What a horrendous browser. Chrome was cool but i don't know what happened recently. All sorts of poopy now. Looks like firefox is the current winner.

Couldn't you just build a Windows virtual machine and run it on your Mac?
The most helpful bit of advice I've ever received:

Blasphemy.
Actually, you can install Windows on any of the new Intel Macs. Supposedly it works well, but I have never tried it. I can't bring myself to befoul my Mac by putting Microsuck stuff on it.
