Titanium source
I was purchasing from ALT, but they seem to have dropped their Ti products. Labworx wants $999.99 for shipping, they can go pound sand.
I found a metal fab place in NJ, that I can have them custom cut whatever I need, but I'm sure there must be an easier way to source these.
So.....where are people getting their Ti plates for their vapor curves? I'm looking for the Ti plates that have a divot in the middle.
thanks in advance!

Re: Titanium source
@HMK - what size do you cut your squares? I think 1" x 1" would be a good size, but I think I need to see it in person and play around with different sizes to find one that works.

Re: Titanium source
basically 1" square ya, works good. sometimes a bit smaller or larger to have variety for different sized bells.

Re: Titanium source
Awesome HMK, glad my thinking was correct for once I'll post some pics once I get my Ti.
I'm getting my Ti through these people. Item number 9051K17, I figured .063" should be a good thickness, as that's almost 1/16th of an inch and that's what the other plates I've had before were.
Thanks again!

I've purchased supplies through those people before . I found that they are a very good company to deal with.
Good Luck

Re: Titanium source
what wire do use to keep the spoke/pad on the curve, ive used a few different and some break too easily and others im worried about heat..peace

Re: Titanium source
i haven't made any skillets, but the ones i see at shops that are circles with the wire welded on the bottom look the cleanest to me. I wonder if ppl are doing this themselves, seems like it would bump the price up a lot. although, it must be a lot of work to cut and wrap the square ones as well...

Re: Titanium source
welded ones fall apart eventually i heard, not that great. those round ones were way too thin as i recall too.
