    Default litton F lathe

I made an impulse buy recently of a litton f lathe and not really sure If I am going to to use it enough to justify it. So I am thinking of passing it on to someone who will. If you are are interested email me at efsglass@gmail.com for pics and to talk about the machine. F lathe is a small table top lathe mostly for making parts and smaller items such as ashcatchers and things of that size. $3900 plus shipping. justin

Can you share more info about these lathes or this one in particular? Best I could find is that it has a 6 inch working length. Seems a little sparse, but in line with your ashcatcher mention.

there is not a fire carriage that came with this. I don't really see why you would want one on here anyway's. but regaurdless there is not a fire carriage or cover.

there is not a fire carriage so the lathe is not set-up to mount a torch to it. you could easily get one from litton or probably brandon at victory. I only use hand torches when lathe working so not having a fire carriage was no concern to me personally.
