Another sparkly jewel beetle (with new style of antennae) and a nice spider:

    Thanks Brad!

So I took a week off from posting on Etsy, with the 4th and all. Now I'm back at it and have two especially interesting pieces posted.

The second one is a CREEPY SPIDER, so don't scroll down if you don't like them! It's a replica of the spiders which continually insist on colonizing my basement, despite my best efforts to clear them out each year.

Enjoy, and thank you for looking!!!
    Wes.

There's a specific weird breed of spider inhabiting my basement... I'd consider comissioning a statuette. It looks like they're wearing glasses.

    Thank you all.
Khan - better a blowed than a bloated mind.
Julian - do they look something like this? Only spider I've ever seen with eyeglasses...

Doh Re: new critters on ETSY

I've been getting into making some different kinds of walking sticks lately and just posted a couple on Etsy. These are made of Effetre/Moretti glass, with a sprinkling of Thompson Enamels for some color accent.
