Yep, china white/rainbow vac-stack. Its some real uneven tubing, that's for sure. Not the easiest I've worked, but probably no the most uneven either. Blowing it out can be a bit tricky, helps to use gravity to your advantage and pause while spinning/blowing. that may not have made sense haha. Its one of my favorite color combos though for linework, and it just makes you really appreciate the even, balanced tubing whenever you work it!
no, no china tubing... china white rod in half the vac-stack, assorted GA/NS rainbow colors in the other half. on Simax 50x5, inside of Simax 75x5. You've got to make sure to get 6mm chinese rod, instead of the 8mm. the 8mm is damn near impossible to stack inside of 75x5.
i've vac stacked with china white rod though numerous times, with surprisingly good results. Annealing after pulling the stack seems to help, can still make some shocky tubing though.
White reticello from the other day. If you hadn't noticed yet... white reti's are my favorite. Really happy with this one. First time working on standard wall. Definitely will take some getting used to, but I love the results and won't be going back.
Another reticello, I can't stop! One of my favorite designs in glass, and after making them over and over and over again I'm finally really happy with the results. The last few from yesterday had my giggling with excitement, thank god nobody heard me working
Here's my favorite, some Wisteria goodness.
Cleanest retti you've posted yet in my opinion. Guessing the switch to standard wall proved beneficial? Keep it up dude they're looking great.
leaps and bounds different. It definitely has taken some getting used to though, works very very different from heavy wall. I had been wanting to try it for a while, and then like magic a few feet of standard wall showed up on my bench at work!

First reti of 2014, and my first wine glasses to not get thrown in the scrap bucket. Fairly pleased with them, and I'm excited to start making more glasses.
