I want one.
Hey,
thought this might be of interest to someone on here.

I want one.
Aymie
Would using this on a kiln be as easy as using my existing thermocouple with this controller? or will the thermocouple that he's selling with the kit handle the temps that we use?
I'd be a bit concerned that the cold temps of New England might destroy that LCD.
Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down. Never gonna run around, and desert you.
The thermocouple is the same type so wouldn't have any problem with that, but again a touchscreen in a Glass shop doesn't sound like a good idea. But damn its pretty and if they sold em on ebay after release i can't say I wouldn't get one!
I've sent a question in via the kickstarter page to confirm the upper limit of the thermocouple interface chip. I havent heard back yet.
I'm building an arduino based one with this interface, so unless I fry something I dont think I'll be getting one.
the guy from the kickstarter responded. The chip will read up to 1100C, but you will need to provide your own k type thermocouple that supports the higher temp range.
Looks interesting, but I give that thing 24 hours alone with me until it's broken.
