We have a bunch of this gel in the fusing shop and I've been thinking about trying some reverse painting on boro. I'm thinking 80mm cut into 6 or 7" lengths painted then condensed and blown.
So here's the ?: Has anyone tried the liquid stringer gel with boro powders. We tried straight gum arabic and water for the same concept years ago but the quick heat up destroyed the binders. I'll post my results when I give it a try just want to know if anyone is exploring this tech on boro and if you can provide any insight.
I wonder if you can make landscape marbles or what would a implosion portrait look like. I duno but I like the idea of cold prep.
