catchy name! so, does anybody know who this is? ground joints are a pretty niche market for a newcomer. it says Chinese but the marketing is definitely american. anybody tried them yet?

We carry them in the store at Trev's and they are good Just shorter than the other ones.
Yes they are made in China but I understand they are made from their design and made over there for them on Kimble + something else. From a gal in Texas,,
We have had good reports from the 14M and the 10-18 M and F that haave been bought here and used by my local blowers
We have more stock coming on Wednesday,

Gave out samples to the blowers at the BC sxsw party. I liked the lil transitions. Never bought any, but liked the ones I used.

    Attn: Swampy

This is Sarah from Glass Warfare. The first run of joints were produced with a fire cut end (not Saw cut). Our newest batch is flame polished but we will not have them availalbe until August.

All of our ground joints are produced in China using raw tubing from a small, independant manufacturer that pulls clear tubing for the Chinese scientific industry. It is not the same cheap clear Chinese tubing that you typically get from American distributors.

    Unique to Glass Warfare are:

10/18 male, 10/18 female (often referred to as 10/19)
14/20 to 10/18 bushings (low profile downstems)

We carry every size with bushings in between:

    10/18 male and female
    14/20 to 10/18 bushings
    14/20 male and female
    19/22 to 14/20 bushings
    19/22 male and female
    24/26 to 14/20 bushings
    24/26 male and female
    29/26 to 19/22 bushings
    29/26 male and female

Most of these sizes are available in multiple wall thicknesses with various price levels. Please email us directly for bulk pricing.

**ALSO - in the fall we'll be launching COLORED BUSHINGS in ALL colors INCLUDING WHITE AND BLACK!

Thanks for the clarification Sarah, much appreciated.

I like the idea of the coloured parts.

Tip of the day; you need to expose yourself more on here, maybe a post in the Vendor's Glassifieds would help get the word out... :o)

    Thanks again and good luck.

Anybody using these on a regular basis? Wanted to buy a 6 cases/ 6 sizes of accugrind until i added it up and came up with $2,752 worth of joints.. Those 400 per case really add up quick.

We have joints that are ground here in America on Simax. Everyone said they'd buy them. But, no one likes the $4-5 price

I'd be curious to poll what people would expect a single ground joint, made on Simax, ground in America, to cost. Because, at some point the manufacturers and customers just can't get together on it. Everyone wants nice, American joints, but very few people have switched from our Asian to AmeriGrinds. So, where is the happy medium? Not sure there is one.
