    Default Sticker Exchange!

We all want more stickers, but getting them one at a time takes a while.

    So let’s do a trade!

Okay, so here is the idea. You send ten of your stickers and a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) to me. Once the deadline hits (below), I take all of the stickers that have been sent to me and ship them back out.

The amount of people participating will decide the amount of unique stickers each participant gets (in other words, if 6 people participate, we'll each get 5 sets of 2 stickers each back. If 11 people participate, we'll each get ten unique stickers back. If more than 11 participate, we'll each get a random assortment of ten unique stickers).

If you're interested, here is what you need to participate:
    2 small (3.5" x 6.5") envelopes
    4 stamps
10 of your stickers (No really big stickers please. The stickers have to be able to fit in the 3.5" x 6.5" envelopes)

Deadlines/rules will be in the next posts. PM me for address and shipping directions.

Okay, so now that we have all of that figured out, the deadline for the first trade is September 15th.

PM me for the address and shipping directions.

All stickers that have arrived by that time will be divvied up, packed back in the SASE’s and sent back out to the participants.

If your stickers haven’t arrived at my PO Box by that time, you’re out of luck. I’ll PM you and give you the option of me returning them to you in your SASE, or, depending on how things go, I may do another trade later this year, and your stickers can be saved for that trade if you’d like.

Now, to address the issue of why we need two stamps on each envelope.
Yes, we need two. If everyone were for some reason to send 3” x 6” stickers, it would weigh over an ounce. Even a random assortment of sizes put my stuffed envelope in at 27 grams, so putting two stamps on makes sure that everything moves smoothly.

Also, if you forget to stamp your SASE, I’ll contact you to let you know to send another one, but if it arrives past the deadline, please refer to the paragraph where I talk about what happens with late submissions.

    Any other questions?

To keep things easy, for this trade, it's only going to be open to US citizens. Sorry to all of our international friends, but I'd like to keep this relatively headache free, and filling out customs forms and sitting in line at the post office are not conducive to that.

Hmmmm....now that I think about it... ...might Hello Kitty stickers count?

Have fun with this one all - Icky - any chance we can see a pic of the pile of stickers you get to sort?

I'd like to do glass related stickers, so I'm going to have to say no to Hello Kitty stickers, but I need to send a package to you anyways, so at least you'll get some NCG stickers.

But yeah, I'd be happy to share a picture of all the stuff before sorting through it.

Right now we're about halfway there. Need five more participants. For now, lets just do stickers, I'm concerned about the weight of the magnets being too much.

NPW, yeah, I totally knew you were kidding, but I figured it was a valid question nonetheless, and figured that this way it was answered in case anyone had a similar question.

Okay, deadline for them to be here is coming up in a week and a half (Sept 15th). If you want to send stickers in, PM me soon for the instructions. After the 15th, all stickers that arrive in the PO box get sent back unless you instruct me to keep them for the next round.

I have a grip of hitman stickers. All different. Can I send 10 of those? They are glass.

Alright, made the final post office run yesterday. Nothing there other than Mecha's donation for Glassroots, so this morning I went through and separated and packed up all of the stickers. They will go back out in the mail tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who participated. Some really cool stickers in there.
