I'm not quite sure how to create a Wiki page. I know the recent Spam has created an issue, and I can't log in with my current login. It says no user by my name exists, so I requested an account a while ago, but haven't heard anything yet.

I was thinking about making a page to help explain some of the science and theory behind fuming, since fuming is one of a couple broad areas that really got my love of glass going. I would like to offer some good info to others who may search and look around for relevant info.

Glad to see some interest. Approaching fuming from a strongly scientific side may not interest many people, but I studied gemology for a while, and it really lead to me understanding fuming. I studied fuming for a long time until i could put pieces together and figure out why it works, and what exactly was happening. I just want to make what I learned available to others, so those who are looking for a deeply scientific explanation to base their experimentation on have it.
