Wait, are these soft or boro?
Either way, I really dig the "bubbly" champagne flutes. Your work is always tits, though.

"Badger, my ass; it's probably Milhouse."
I think he is saying he is putting soft glass on to boro which is making those marks? Please tell us more!

Neat effect. Thanks for sharing.
Take life with a grain of salt.....a slice of lime, and a shot of tequila
Perhaps dabbing soft glass onto the boro to create the dimple? And, since boro cools faster than soft glass, the soft glass then releases from the boro?
However it is done, it is beautiful work!
"Destruction leads to a very rough road, but it also breeds creation."
That's what I was thinking, but I'm surprised that such a technique would survive. Maybe it's thin enough to take the stress. How would you anneal something like this?
"Badger, my ass; it's probably Milhouse."
fOR THE FIRST 3 CUPS,
i PUT MURANO CLEAR GLASS ON MY PREHEAT TUBE, AND AFTER 6-7 SECONDS, I'M JUST KNOCKING SLOWLY THE SOFT GLASS DOTS WITH MY KNIFE. When the dot is falling, it detached 1 mm of boro glass thickness. after that I just have to heat and blow the form.
For the Champagne cup, I put the soft glass dots when the form is blown, and I reheat slowly the cup to polish the holes.
Hope you will undertstand those explanations.
have a nice day.
Thanks for sharing the technique.

Awesome Alain, thought that was what you were doing it is really cool. It would be interesting to do that with a color layered tube, where the dots would expose the under layer of color. Kinda like doing a graal.
Anyway, thanks for showin us!
