Looks cool!
Here’s a 5 minute segment of the Micro webinar video we’ll be presenting next week.
Glasscraft is offering the Micro webinar on 1/24 at 5:00pm pacific. We’ve got well over an hour's worth of video and slides. During the presentation you can ask questions of Paul, get explanations, chat with your friends and other attendees, and see an amazing glass artist do incredible work; he really breaks it down. All the video was shot during Paul’s last class in Golden - spring of 2012 - and the slide show is his really well organized introduction to Murrini and Millifiori history, design, the different types of milli, appropriate/optimal colors for this type of work, and the planning, execution and use of murrini. This webinar will run 2 hours and is being offered for $50.

We’re also running a contest for a free seat. Anyone can submit pictures of their work through 1:00pm pacific on 1/18, at which point everyone will vote for their favorite, the winner getting a free seat in the webinar. The entire contest is on Facebook and accessible here.

A couple images of some of the millie Paul made last November 2011 when he was teaching in Golden, and when we filmed the content for this webinar.
If you'd like to vote on some millie images that were submitted in our contest, you can do so here: the winner will get a seat in Thursday night's webinar.

The material Paul is presenting is great; he knows a lot of theory, history and practical techniques. Hope to see you there. Thanks

less than an hour to go.....bouncing off the friggen walls with anticipation.....first time in months I've had a soda, Mt. Dew.....want to be WIDE AWAKE for this.....
wow, outstanding webinar, very impressed at the quality, organization and presentation of the content. I highly recommend this!
hoping to see this as a recorded webinar so i can find time asap to check it out. lots of buzz on this one!
That was phenomenal. Great job Glasscraft and Micro! Really enjoyed that class!
Referring to the book that Paul was talking about last night (holy shit, cheapest copy I could find was $199), here is a presentation by the author of that book, Giovanni Sarpellon, on murrini:

So it will be replayed? Or can we buy the webinary?
Suggestion: Make a computer program that has the collection on it. Then you can sell it for what it's worth. People would bitch about a 250$ DVD. But a 250$ pc program would be legit.

it was great! micro didn't hold back. it was amazing to see the whole process abridged to a couple hours and i really didn't feel like there were any points left out. this was the most heavily attended webinar i have seen and the system handled the load well on my mac. every question was answered. kudos to paul stephan and the entire glasscraft crew for pulling off another great virtual lesson. thanks guys!

so where's the milli's you guys made today?

I have to second what mer said so well. Huge ups to Glasscraft and crew for bringing us phenomenal classes in this convenient venue. What could be better than hanging out in your shop with 70 or so of your coworkers and a glass artist teaching you some tricks. No plane tickets to buy, no flights to be anxious over, no accommodations to make for guests... but as mer said the content lacked nothing. I felt like I could walk the long journey of 40 feet to my shop and utilize the knowledge micro passed down as soon as I hit the close button. If not for broken oxycon, I no doubt would have!
Can't wait to see more of these!
A special thanks to Paul for all the hard work and open mind to sharing.

Thanks everyone for attending. Paul was so great to work with - very organized, very professional, present, and so easy to work with. What a great guy. Yes, we will be sending out links to view the presentation, as well as putting up a pay per view on the site; probably next week.
I know there were some latency issues with a few folks. Please pm me if you experienced any problems. If Jesse Wakeley hasn't sent out surveys already, those are forthcoming; we'd appreciate your feedback.
Stay tuned for Berzerker; we're working to get him up next. He did his dichro extraction class in Golden a couple months ago, we've got some content, and we're in the process of editing that down for what we hope will be a great webinar. Brian is really excited to share his process and techniques.
Thanks again for the support.

let me know as soon as the Berzerker webinar is ready to register for so I can throw you my money Will he be live for questions and harrasment like Paul or will it just be recorded video?
Oh, and big ups to Jesse, their system had issues sending a few people the link, and just as I literally was reaching for the phone to call Glasscraft, the phone rang and it was Jesse CALLING ME TO HELP. That was the coolest thing I've ever heard of a distribution company doing let alone providing the webinar in the first place...I'll definitely be looking to buy something from you guys soon, least I can do.
