Default Bethlehem gl150 lab lathe, possibly for sale

Not set on selling this at all, but I'm testing the waters. These are very rare and I feel like I might not have the chance to get another again. I had planned on a full cosmetic restoration but I'm weighing the benefit of selling to help complete my new shop vs. having this classic and fully functioning rarity for life.

Tentative offering: Bethlehem gl150 lab lathe. Factory Bakelite green, rust in some parts but the gearing is clean and oiled. Everything runs free and smooth, no dents or damage to any part if it. Has a new motor and an original AC/DC converter, speed control. This is setup for direct drive, not the friction drive like it came with stock. No parts missing. It's pretty well aligned but it may need some minor adjustment. There's a thread on here with the original manual for truing it. Chucks accept glass up to about 4.5" in diam. , working distance from tips of chuck teeth is 33.5", and it weights in at just about 200 lbs.

$4000 firm. I won't budge on that at all. Must be picked up in San Diego, I will not ship. Again I'm not set on selling this, I will not consider anything less than what I'm listing it at. I can provide pics to serious buyers ONLY. Iv just moved and this is all done by phone, so I can't post here but can pic message or email.

No tease, I'd honestly just been weighing options I'd prefer not too. It looks like this lathe is going out on loan. A lil bird told me its being spec'd out for a new and revised lathe of similar dimensions and capabilities. Thanks for your interest and replies.
