I like the picture more than the piece. Frankly, in person it's silver heavy and looks a little fogged out. The sun hit it just right and kinda backlit it. Pow! Rainbow! Schott.

Nah, nah. See, I meant to do that.
So awesome!
I can't remember if I did this one yet or not. Will take it down if I did.

Trying to figure out how to get better colors in my all clear and fume. Over black is one thing, but clear has been tough for me.

This piece was sorta fun to make. Pictures aren't great , because I was riding in the car, and didn't have time to take any before I left. May take some more later. I'm typically a big stickler for using only first quality materials and prep, in order to make a first quality piece, but I had a bunch of second quality prep sitting on my kiln that was not going to be used, and decided a few nights ago, that I wanted to start throwing some of it together to see how nice of a piece I could make out of it. Keep in mind, it was all second quality stuff, but I think it came out pretty nice considering! Main reason I did it, is because I would like to start getting more into assembly of bigger pieces such as mini tubes and the like, and figured if I screwed up, I really wasn't out much since it was all trash anyway, and was good practice at fixing mess ups (mainly shape related, crack fixing is no biggie). I need to start doing a lot more bigger stuff to get the hang of shaping large pieces of glass. Has a few minor flaws, which was to be expected due to the starting prep, but still pretty happy with it. Has a 10mm joint on it. Don't care for the 10mm's, but had a few laying around, and no 14mm, so figured I would use a few of them up. The ring seal could be a little cleaner, but it's hard to tell in pics. Also polished the joint because I burned a little of the grind off since it was so close to the ring seal. wanted lo profile, but went a little too low. It will stay with me if my good friend doesn't want it for a discount.
