Tried to reply to your PM, but it seems your mailbox is full.

Might be overkill, but I emailed you through your website to follow up.

Why are they called gunmounts? I can't imagine glass and guns ever being used together. I've seen these things come up over the past year or two here.

    Cool colors for sure!

They were used in old tube style tvs. That's why there are the two little indents on each end. Where they connected with wires. Would be cool if someone more knowledgable than me chimed in as I believe they shot light through these to get the color???

Your right they were used to keep the wires separated in the back of the old Tv's.
    Color coded for certain wires..
Eventually they closed the factory and took it down as things went modern..

CORNING, N.Y. -- A former factory site has been redeveloped into ten acres of green space in Corning.

Corning Incorporated leaders joined community members and city officials for a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the occasion. The new Fallbrook Park replaced the glass manufacturing facility that stood there for 80 years until its closure in 2002.

Let old school step in if I may.

These gunmounts, refer to a glass plate used to insulate an electron gun from the rest of the Cathode Ray Tube.
