Goddam! How do I get one?

Btw, I REALLY like how you saw cut the loop on that last one. Great idea. Shelf display is something 99% of pendants lack. That haterade one would look sick on display.

(It started a new page so I figured I would bring the pics over with it)

Couple more pendants made from TAG colors. These are too much fun.

    Thanks Misha!

I try to get at least one or two pics in my series using only one light. I can control the way the shadows are cast that way and give a little more highlight to the subtle details that don't show as well when fully lit.

I have a big horned sheep in the works now. I will hopefully have it wrapped up in a couple of days.

Two new pendants. The bighorn is pink slyme. I ended up dropping it, so on of the horns broke completely off and the other one has a nice crack in it. Going to have them electromformed as a way to save the piece. The ceratopsian is TAG's experimental Transparent Wisteria. My white balance was a little off I guess since the pics make it look a little more blue than it actually is.

Did another bighorn to replace the one that broke. This one is made from Haterade. I am kind of glad the first one broke since I think this one turned out much better. I feel like the proportions between skull and horns are more accurate and that the overall form is more realistic.

Also, you can see a huge difference in the saturation on this one versus the dragon a few posts back. That earlier dragon skull was made from the release batch of haterade that I had sitting around (couldn't think of anything to do with it before) and the newest one is made from the updated stuff. In rod form, it looks a little different. In a large solid gather, it is way different. The first batch is way more yellowish and faint. The new stuff really pops and looks a lot more green. Definitely anew favorite.

I want to see one with a jaw. Like a saber tooth cat? Use the current pendent loop hole , and matching holes on the jaw. a small rod with flat ends for the pivot point.( you probably thought of it already , or you can come up with a even better solution? ) ....
    Mmmm mmm moving parts.

I made a dragon with a fixed mandible a while back. It was a huge pain in the ass. I want to make the pivot point be as close as possible to where the mandible would naturally meet the bottom of the skull so that the movement is more realistic. I do have an idea, I just need to find the extra time to try it out.

I really dig your tea pots. You have a great style! From my work in pottery, I know that one of the most important things that a tea pot collector looks at is how they pour. If you want to increase your market, I'd recommend that you look at their function as well. A tea pot shouldn't gurgle when you pour and drips at the spout should be minimized. There is a lot of good information out in the pottery world on tea pot design and function. You're kill in' it! Keep up the great work!

Yeah, I figured that out pretty early on. Having a wide base to your spout and a smaller opening along with a smooth taper down in the I.D. ensures an excellent pour. The water actually kind of gently shoots away from the spout. Pretty basic stuff, but still important to keep in mind while plotting out the design.

@Misha, late reply, but yes, I did E-Form the sabre tooth. I did not actually manage to get it done until a couple of weeks ago. I still need to finish it up. I have to smooth it out, and carve some of the small details into it that were covered up by copper. I think I may have let it go a little too long. We'll see I guess.

Here is a pic dump of the glass I had left over from the fall show that I just participated in. Word to show organizers, Friday is a much better opening night than Thursday (especially if you are serving free booze) and more importantly, an art show and sale is not a concert. Loud, mediocre cover tunes played right next to a group of tables is a sure fire way to murder sales on opening night. On the flip side, if you see you are going to be set up next to a "band", be sure to request to move, or try and find a way to sabotage their amps, seriously. What was a prime spot with great foot traffic before the high volume cacophony commenced, turned into a completely empty, no man's land during the four hours of way too loud "musical entertainment". No one is going to contemplate buying an expensive piece with Casey Jones blaring at 150 decibels five feet away.

Anyways, I had a bunch of stuff left over, so I figured I would get some pics as I was too busy getting ready for the show to take the time needed to properly photograph the stuff.
