How to edit a previous post I made

Looked trough the FAQ to edit a post. Said to look for the little pencil. Must be blind. I just need to change one word. Any help would be nice. Thanks

on the bottom of your post towards the right there is a little pencil next to the words "edit post", at least on a pc.

Thanks. Looking back on previous posts I see some I can edit and some the pencil has been removed. Must be a timing thing. Thanks
