Re: "The Creator Claw" piece by Greatures Glass
That's a dope little rig man! I wish my handmade joints looked that good. How's the function?

Re: "The Creator Claw" piece by Greatures Glass
Cool concept and very artistic! A good variety of ornamenting techniques packed in there (hollow & solid sculpting, switchback & reversal hollow line work, off axis welds, butt weld...). However, the assembly has room for improvement. The seals between hollow sections from the mouthpiece down to the bottom of the can have thick visible rings, the wall weight is not evened out. There is also devitrification on the back near the attachment which indicates the glass was overworked.
To address the seals issue, practice with two inch-sized hollow sections of equal wall thickness on blow tubes and seal them together. Then, carefully work each side of the seam so that the thick connecting ring blends in with the section's wall weight.

Thanks! Appreciate the feedback, definitely need to work on making these connections seemless!
I'm getting better with every piece! And happy to learn from my mistakes and imperfections
