He will be missed. I remember him pitching the DFO concept to justin at cornerstone way back when.

He birthed what has grown to be many peoples high-light of the year.

    This ones for you.

On behalf of the entire Cornerstone Glass crew, we would like to show our condolences to his family, friends, and anyone who knew him.

Mer brought many bright ideas to the glass industry, like the DFO istelf... but far beyond that, Mer brought smiles and joy to all those who were involved with him.

Our last memories of him are of a happy man trying to change a few things in his life after a terrifying car accident. He had a smile and a positive outlook on what life was to bring.

Mer will live forever in our memories, and as long as he is remembered by all who knew him, he will never truly leave us.

    The Cornerstone Glass crew.

This is terrible news. Mer you will be missed. We met him in Texas and he gave me some milli cane to use, but I never could bring myself to use it. My condolences to his family.

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of an amazing artist and wonderful man, Mer Glass you will be missed greatly. May your after life be filled with a never ending dewar, propane forever and a glass supply that would make Northstar, GA, and TAG jealous. You will be truly missed

Just a couple days ago I was looking through and admiring the mans work. What I trip. I didn't know the man but saw enough of his post on here to know I would have liked to! A very sad day for the glass community..

Mer was a man of many talents, and one of his best was giving love. That man gave the best love…the kind of love that could keep you alive on a cold dark night…the kind of love that saved me on many a night. He went to the grave with secrets I would never have been brave enough to share with anyone else. He was a light for me when I no longer believed the light existed. I will miss him more than I can convey in words.
