I do it this way so that I have a solid handle when attaching the mouthpiece. I hate using grabbers to hold stuff when making attachments. I guess I could do that after attaching the mouthpiece though. I'll give it a try, thank you!

just attempted a venture into a minitube myself, ended up getting cracks and what not. I didn't intend to try to make one but I was encasing with xenon green and trans green and then dotted, by the time it was melted in was so big and hot I figured screw it, I could try to pull it down into a single section tube. My arm hurt from holding that way longer than i should have, rollers would be nice. It would have been smart to pull the section in half shape both parts and then attach them. For a 100% unintended experiment it was ok, obvious problems with design and what not (nose burneresque, mouthpiece section strange, gong seal etc) but figured I would share anyway.

Awesome work gom, I am loving mini tubes myself and yes, its crazy to go from spinning a little spoon on a blow tube to doing a whole rig even when they are light, its still tricky....just have to build up to it I guess. I myself have been making sections and joining them.

Yeah I am thinking of working with some clear for a bit myself on the mini tubes before I throw too much down and mess it all up. I love the work I see in this thread! Once again thanks for the motivation all!

Cool Munkey, I still haven't messed with colored tubing yet, but looking forward.

I just pulled this one out, smaller than the last because it has only 2/3 the sections

The blue is coil potted then sleeved. The green is a new type of dicroh/anodised tube. It's hard to tell in the pic

Awesome goat. For that bottom did you make it seperate and then join? Or implode that into the bottom of the can?

Yeah, just in the bottom of the can. Made it on the end of a point then shaped the tube out.
