Curious, How do you get those red tones in nebulas? I read that copper is the best way to get red but it's quite toxic and I'd rather not use it.
This thread is great! I love to see everyone's work

If you consider copper "quite toxic" then maybe glassblowing isn't for you. Or try cadmium/selenium for reds...
Hmm Alright thanks. I've just come across other threads on this forum saying to stay away from copper when fuming since it's much more toxic then silver and gold.

I'm confident in my ventilation setup. I just thought maybe there was a safer option.

Wow, crazy. Thank you. I need to start investing in more frit to experiment. I only have cobalt, black, and jackpot.

Thousands of people read my threads now. So I’m trying to not embarrass myself.
here is a pic of the finished piece very hard to see what's going on but kut it is basically a tube that has 2 large Marias back to back then the Jesus seals go around the perimeter of those Marias tying the two pieces together and leaving a center section for the internal drain to run through.
really elegant shape, love the fingerprint like lines.
glasshole
nice recycler. I have yet to try one. I am so busy with what I make now. I even have two more pieces that are on the back burner.
Just pulled this out. Definitely a progression piece for me. UV reactive mili on the back of the can, Mai tai pink and mega Mai tai marbles on the side, fume/air trap mouthpiece and dome, opal bridge and 3 hole diffy. Hits like a champ, perfect draw. 14mm.
