Made this last night with my shopmate for a friends birthday. My shopmate did the unicorn head, and I did everything else. This was only his second horse head he has done, and I think he did a killer job! All from memory too, no reference pics. I think he's been staring at his horses head too much lately. lol. All double amber purple, with turbo cobalt behind the rainbow sphere opal, and between some of the sections of DAP. Has a slight sparkle in the inside out cane, as well as a little bit of illuminati.

I'm not out of SLC. I did live in emigration canyon above Ruth's diner. (Above slc zoo) I had about 7 years at that time.(2007-2008) I was BROKE when I finally got a house. About the 4th page on google , I Found borosyndicate's my space page. I rode my bike to Murry, trying to sell off a few torches in my pack. I had moved to slc to work lifts at the canyons in Park City. Borosyndicate had just started.(6 months in?) I ended up in that shop and gave them all the knowledge I had at the time. Now its 2016. they are very successful. I feel like I may go further faster in SLC?

Its a toss up. Go to eugene in the next month or so, OR go to salt lake? SLC I have much better ski options. I also have a shop that will push me.

choice #2 ..... I'm very set up in eugene. I have it all lined up as well. A large network of close friends. I would have to pay shop rent. I would have 80 miles uphill to ski. The town is amazing. Like a different country. I think I may not get to Oregon till spring?

I'm from up state NY. about 25 mins from Vermont. I have a shop that's free here, but I'm packing up the house this month. I have an "affordable " lead on land to mine herkimer diamonds in NY. I made as much much off of minerals as I did glass this past year. Digging is much less stressful. So fall/spring in eugene. Summers in ny, and winters in slc.... sounds like what I want in this lifetime. I got to dig all over the country this year. Mining and phish kind of go hand and hand.

I can get ok crystals outside eugene ( blue river) I can get topaz and red tourmaline outside slc. I have an amazing connection in Montana. They have some great gems. Its just the way my life is. I never know what's going to happen till about 24 hours out. Im going to dig diamonds tonight as soon as the shop closes at 10. ( I should keep working not be on the p.c.)

nice stuff man, but what trickery is this?
H.M.K. , Im out of simax rod? (scraps) I was gifted a half case of sba rod. I think thats why the dots showed up yellow on the lock.

These stones are from 2 nights ago. Just started to open this new pocket. 7# stones. I ran out of time , but I know the rest are waiting. I will update some crystal action from tonight when it happens.

These crystals form on old coral beds of stromilite . This big one has a water bubble pocket with white sand that moves as you tip it.

Not really fresh out of the kiln. Just fresh out of the ground.

I couldn't keep up. So it's just bubblers now. Shipped in $700 increments. Anything more takes forever.
I am owed a lot of money right now.
