MARTHA! I love that your work is so unique I could tell it was you just scrolling and catching an image. Your work I'd awesome. One of these days I want to get up to your area for some private lessons on rocking that color.

A lotus pendant and what is supposed to look like a peach. Didn't get the color right.

Thanks DEmpty! I am flattered. Mostly it's about layering colors, and keeping things "clean" on the surface.
You are quite welcome to contact me with questions in the meantime.

Cool Sherlock looks like something a warlock would smoke from. Claw of the dragon that bit you, my friend.

Thanks for the motivation everyone. I'm moving and off the torch this is my fix for now. Can't wait to get back in on the action Thanks for sharing

how long did it take you? I would ask for $30 maybe for it? It does not have a reversal in it so that is why I say maybe. I get $35 if it had a reversal. That is why I don't do that stuff really. Just small bubblers and spoons and chillums mostly.

That's what i was thinking! Being my first one, it has a couple of defects. Just not as smooth as i would have liked. I need to work on my bends. It took me a couple hours. A little longer with the prep.

    Moon munkey ,

If you hold the piece upside down , and gently heat the underside of the bend by the mouthpiece , the little lump of extra glass will smooth right out. No puffing needed most likley... Gravity will do it for you. Doesn't take much heat. Got to make sure the top of the bend stays cool and stiff to keep its total shape at the same time.

If the bend gives you trouble , I would heat a bigger section of the bend area , and go really gently, little at a time. Most importantly , with a fade in the heat base ,So more glass can move at one time. The glass further from the bend needs to give a little to keep it all clean. I'm always thinking about how much glass actually needs to move for a certin step. The longer I do this , the more I understand I usually need a bigger area heated to let the glass flow smooth and "give" ( flex or stretch ) like it wants to. Not nessasairly hoter , just a bigger area heated.

+rep. For posting , and not boiling the un encased colors.

I would get 45 wholesale , they get 90 in the store.

No less than $35 , they get 70$ in the store.

Etsy or retail from you to the customer .... 60$ plus shipping.
    ( I'm assuming the it's full size , and that's a soda can in the picture. )

thanks boro! It's the same for me bigger area but less heat. I alway end up with too much of a concentration of heat. I did sleeve the the orange cran after coilpoting. Thanks for the rep!
