How long does it take each of you to make a pipe? What took the longest and what was the quickest?

Tried out a new import white MGA might be getting soon. Super durable with no boiling.

Re: Fresh out of the kiln
These are faster. So I make more of them. I take large orders for them.
The other pieces I only sell what I have in stock.

It's a new color that starts off like this...

and as you work it turns opaque. From what I understand, it's basically opaque white mixed with clear. Not like jade white, which I always assumed was clear/opaque white mix. It's going to be a game changer for sure.
Here is a blow out I did with a rod a few months ago of the same stuff. Rods looked like crap when I got them, did not expect this result.

Do they have it in stock yet? Have you tried it with other colors?

Re: Fresh out of the kiln
Not in stock yet, maybe in a few months. Not 100% though. This was a sample that I received.
I'm going to do some more experiments with it, but simax worked with it just fine. I'll try out some color on it soon.

Re: Fresh out of the kiln
How is the white different then the asian white from mga they had before? Looks nice but I used the mga asian white before and it was opaque and buttery as well as compatible.
Nice job using it. It is hard to use white as a color.
I wish the black was compatible also. I had a hard time with it.
Oh god, no more jokes for me. I can't believe Misha quoted that joke. I hope everyone understands I was making a joke and not being real.

Re: Fresh out of the kiln
Maybe someone wants to split a booth at Harvest Fest and freedom fair, Columus Day weekend this year?
I was just asked. They sound desperate for new glassblowers. I think a lot of people quit that did it in the past.
I think it is at butternut ski area in mass this year. I can find out or recomend you for your own booth to the promoter. He used to be the festival glassblower himself.

Re: Fresh out of the kiln
Here is a milli I've wanted to make for a while. This is just a rough slice. Still needs to be polished, and this was the first try.
It's a blood slide like Dexter Morgan used as trophies for his kills on showtimes "Dexter".
