Default Introducing the M1 foot pedal by Alien

Proud to announce that I'm finally producing these bad boys and will have these 3 available at Glassroots on Monday.
I built two prototypes earlier this year and myself and a friend have been loving them the last 6-7 months.
Push on and kick off setup, these things weigh a ton and won't end up kicked to the nether regions under your bench, and also serve as an affordable yacht anchor.
A 3 stage version is on the drawing board as well and im working on an oxy bypass option so keep your eyes out

The introductory price will be $350, and the 3 I'll have at Glassroots are going for a show special price of $300. Not bad for a pedal your great great grandkids will be able to use.

What kind of pressure is required? Will they work with oxygen concentrators/natural gas?

Some grip tape would be perfect for the tops. You can even get camo and military themed griptape for cheap. Plus it's super easy to install. Just cut to size and stick. So your foot doesn't slip. Obviously they don't need it, personally I think it would
Just look cool and have a function. They look well thought out and heavy duty. Great job! I dig the ammo box feel they have.
Some Manifolds made from small ammo boxes would be pretty cool as well. Go with the theme.

Can't wait to check em out at glassroots!

I thought about the grip tape, but I like being able to slide my foot on it, plus it could cause issue when trying to hit the off kickplate. It could be a free option in the future though. Where did you see the camo grip tape?

Plus you could cover 5-6 pedals with one sheet. I think it would make them look bad ass (even more).

Just really like your idea and thought it might help.
You could even just send a pre cut one to give the customer the option. It would probably be 1$ more a pedal.
I have griptape on my pedal and love it. I am in the market for another, def would chose these.

They make everything you can think of on griptape. I have a skateboard with full frontal nudity on it. Lol. And I have one covered in nugs. It's never more then 10-15$ a sheet and the sheets would probably
Cover more like 10 pedals probably.

I often kick my pedal too hard and it slides away from me. I use the grip tape to slide it back towards me.

Are we finally getting more options for American made mechanical foot pedals in 2014?!? These look great, good luck at the show man!

I'm excited about these. I've got it toward the top of my list of things to buy. I like the od green. Great aesthetics overall.

I do the same. The vertical plate wouldn't really need it. Just the horizontal one is all I would need. Sometimes my pedal is in weird spots under my table. I have to feel around with my foot and pull it back. I'm also a sitter. That might be why my pedals always in weird spots. I'm rolling around in a chair and kicking the shit out of it sometimes if the music is too loud and I'm in the groove.

You will be hard pressed to budge the pedal, Ive had mine 7 months and never once had to play go fetch with it, and mine doesnt even weigh as much since it doesn't have the additional weight of the safety box.

I think Im set on doing what Dan suggested and send out a piece of grip tape and let the owner decide.

Thanks for all the positivity everyone, its very welcome after one of the hardest weeks of work I've put in, love this community!

Just got done painting the first M1 Mini. The new pedal is the same design scaled down to fit in your carry on luggage. All my Pedals will also feature an integrated T below the valves so Y splitters will not be necessary. This addresses both concerns people had when I was showing it off at Glassroots, while everyone was stoked on the heavy duty quality, the 22 pound weight of the M1 and the need for splitters was an issue for many.

I will still offer M1's (with integrated T's) on a special order basis for $400 and the M1 mini will be the mainstay and be priced at $350.

Ill post up some pics after the paint dries and its all assembled.

Ok guys, here it is, the M-1 Mini. Weighs 5.3 pounds, but still has that nice heavy duty construction and solenoid-like fast action. Step on it turns it on, kick it turns it off. The mini has an even smoother action to it than its big brother. 4 rubber washers give the bottom a nice solid grip, and per request.....grip tape! Oh...integrated splitters too for easy hook up!

Ill even kick down free shipping to Melting Pot members.

Sorry to non-US peeps, not offering them to canada and elsewhere just yet, but I would love some input from members here on how to get good international shipping rates and service, any input would be appreciated.

I've got one on hand and parts on the self ready to be built, hit me up, if you need a pedal this is where its at!
