Trautman Art Glass has made and donated 3 pounds of dense pink slyme!

Only *slightly* denser. Just like the regular Slyme, the COE is a tad high on the Pink Slyme, and it also likes a bushy flame -- but it does not need as much propane as the regular Slyme to prevent boil. You tend to get a milkier strike with a more reducing flame and a more transparent effect with a more neutral flame. And like all the Slymes, Pink Slyme will be a bit milkier under encasement.
Such a beautiful color. Thank you, TAG crew! You guys are awesome.

Knowing that the memorial art glass I create helps people work through their grief gives my work a deeper meaning.

Making memorial art glass is absolutely enriching to my soul. I witness love, I am a conduit for connection between people and their lost loved ones, and I help my clients reclaim a little power during a vulnerable time. My work makes me feel like I’m using my talents and gifts for their highest purposes. I make a tangible, meaningful difference in people’s lives. My work makes people feel better, one bead at a time. Mr. Pr0n and Light Fire Glass have donated 1 mixed pound of color each, and 2 x 1/2 ounces of silver each. What an awesome couple. A little about Mr. pr0n: (will add info about Light Fire Glass when I receive it. )

Color Me This Patinas are easy-to-use, cold application patinas for copper, brass, silver and other materials. Simple to follow instructions are included.

These are custom-blended colors developed by me in my studio and packaged for you. They are formulated from finely ground, naturally occurring colored oxides with a water base polymer/resin binder. The patinas have no odor, no VOC and are safe to use with appropriate care and safety. They will stain fabric permanently...ask me how I know!

I have had some strong reactions to our name, but that is the point. For those who care to dig deeper, they will find a story behind the creation of each piece of art. They share the story with others and it opens the mind of the human conscious. It happens everytime they take the piece off the shelf. The ignorant just run. I find glass a very powerful tool in spreading knowledge and inspiring people. I want to send a message of hope. "In our struggle for freedom, truth is the only weapon we possess." -The Dalai Lama.

This owl pendant is 1 1/4" and is the first of it's kind! I love it, and hope to see more like it come around.

I love TMP because my first glass mentor spent over 3 grand on lessons in Seattle in 2000, and I learned even more than him at TMP in half the time! (he has his own style, no disrespect to him). (I've been a member since the beginning , the black board).

edit: he has always refused to view this board. It has always perplexed me. Some people's hubris!

I love tmp because I get to meet and talk to people I never would have otherwise. I've made better friends in a few short months than I have in my life. When you think about it, that's what it's all about, right? Thanks everyone who's helped me start this fantastic journey.

I love TMP because I have gotten more knowledge from here than any other source. It is probably, other than FB, the most important and complete collection of knowledge for glass artistry.

i love TMP because there is so much info about glassblowing and glass. I've learned bits and pieces about everything from what books to read through how to price and market your work. the community here is great and raises to any occasion to help a noob out. even some very big and experienced glassblowers take away from their valuable time to help the little guy. i am yet to meet someone on here who is not a good genuine person. and of course the mods are extremely helpful with any questions and are very present on the forums not only as a mod but as a member.
