#40 V1 Sig milli for Loki at Slugworth Glass, These are some slabs. The hat was coated in white and clear and pulled down into cane for attachments.

#41 Green Bay Packers V1, entire pull checked due to the poorly mixed batch of Mantis from GL33. My favorite green is now a no go since GL33 has no actual QC to speak of, such a shame.

Green Bay V2 made with glasstronics green, acid yellow and star white. no checking. Pretty happy with how it turned out. It will be available on FB as usual, either tonight or tomorrow.

I had never tried the gl33 they had tubing also but used the sba for there cullet I had heard and a lot of there striking or silver colors where incased in sba. I saw some of the stuff made from there clear coated tube and the ends of horns and welds where always cloudy white due to the way the sleeve or dipped coat absorbs the silver. Now this Mantis issue . Is Mantis a sparkle or not . Sparkle plus greens plus image cane sounds like a tuff road. Glad you made your cane work out in the end

Mantis is an opaque NON sparkle green. The first batch I got was fully mixed and worked great. See my 420 pull on page 4 of this thread. Unfortunately, the second batch I got was not fully mixed and off on COE and checked the entire pull. There is a long and nutty thread on my FB in which Justin Trott, the owner of GL33, makes it pretty clear he doesn't handle objective negative feedback of his product very well. At one point stating he doesn't care what those who "don't understand" his color think. He also admitted to not doing any QC on his glass before sending it to his distributor. A very poor attitude and clearly not someone I will ever do business with again. It was so nuts I had to screen cap it all.

He also deleted a post in the FB Glass Color Awareness group where he tried to apologize after trashing his dealers and blaming everyone but himself. Too little way to late. After all that he finally offered to compensate me for the checked pull. I turned it down. I don't want money or glass from someone that has the worst business practices I have seen in ages.

A silhouette or black and white? It just depends on the source image and how clean it comes out. Also depends on if you are buying the entire pull or not.

Ok, well all that would depend on the price, and I would not really want to buy tomorrow. I have no idea how many chips a pull is. This is an area of glass that I know nothing about. Just recently decided I needed to put it on the list for things to learn

Ok, let me know. On custom pulls you are buying the entire pull. Images start at $3 a gram and go up based on time, material and complexity and yield. I typically ask for the low end of the estimate up front and the remaining difference upon completion. So If I think the final pull of a $3 a gram image will be 250 - 300 grams then $750 is the deposit. on more complex images you are also buying the component pulls.

Right on, thats a good price, but its about the cost of my typical glass order. I really like the quality of what I am seeing in your pictures, so if I am ever able to get these, and its gonna make money for me, I am dealing with you for sure. I really thought I would see more Fleur de lis out there, but I have not come across any. I am really impressed with that last one, clean as all hell.

Thanks man, I am really making an effort to keep things simple and clean where the images benefit from it. Thanks for noticing. I know for a fact I have the most reasonable custom prices in the biz. Alot of guys would quote you above 6 a gram for that image. I am thinking 4 is more reasonable if you are buying the pull. I like artists to use my work.

I have had several customers ask about it. I have a few appointments for back to school sales this year, i am gonna have to use them on mostly prodo hand pipes. there are a multitude of variables, however if I get them in the future, it will be a no bullshit transaction on my end for sure.
