Depends on where you want stuff imploded to. I start with the things I want up inside the marble the farthest and go from there.

Yeah I see. I'm getting the hang of it and learning how placing the lines further in/out and how many implosion you do between petal layers effects everything. I've made five today nd took a break from them to make a blue "minion" that someone ordered... Definitely working on my sculpture skills more once I'm satisfied with making these flowers. That's one realm of lampworking I've really neglected.

Thats the type of thing I usually try to avoid, see through petals, but it looks good. How where the veins made?

You can get "veins" a couple ways. One is to use twisted cane for the petals. This was done by imploding the petals just until flat on the back, then adding tiny dots along the inside of each petal...the dots them implode along with the petals.

Try using a tungsten to poke and various places in the dots for pointy petals.

The Americans here are gonna hate me but its China White. Iv been on the torch for 8 month or so. Few hours a week so I try and use china color while practicing. China colors are my favorite for the most part the black white and striking red anyway.
