I know I am not the one you were talking to but I see they have not replied yet and i think that
It strange that what you asked them, because that the new thing i got from the kobuki demo how much he cleaned up the bottom after the green of the buds were imploded, before he add stem dot.
I think mine are better for learning that even though I still have a way to go.

I gave that transparent flower with vein thing a try need to work on differtant colors to work it out

Heyyyy alright. (Yes it is mentioned in the kobuki demo)

    Thanks for jumping in!

Yea I'm thinking you may need to mix with clear to get that Lacey effect.

I haven't had a chance to make any flowers since I started this darn thread I gotta get back to it.
Nah, nah. See, I meant to do that.

what i dont' understand about that Kobuki vid is when he puts the final green dot on for the stem, pokes it with tunsten and then implodes it more. it never comes out thin like a stem when i do it. sometimes somewhat pointy, but i'm pretty sure i'm missing something really simple and it's just going right over my head.

Ohhh shit I gotta get to work. Istandalone that gold fume looks GREAT mike I'm digging it! Those transparent colors like to bubble out. I just tried one myself and it wasn't working out.

I've been practicing my hollow work so I feel like it's been a minute before I made a nice flower. They seem to be running away from me come baaaack

I need some new color combos to try. Jet black over pink slyme quickly becoming a favorite. Just tried plum krazy over star white and allow me to save you the trouble. It was weak sauce. I got it to vein very nicely, but I think I'll go back to cobalt over dark cobalt over star white for the next few.

Tela, the last pic was black over pink slyme. Couple of these are actually... Here sorry for the repeats..

Both of these as well. It varies from a nice purple to a more opaque white depending onf. Lame chemistry and how long it stays in the fire.
