if anything just some beeswax
I'm breaking in my new waffle crimp and was wondering if I should lube this tool with beez wax or number 9 gun oil...???

if anything just some beeswax
As far as rust or for use? As far as use, most tools dont need beeswax if your careful. Brass and other conductive tools could use beeswax more so than steel. I personally dont like beeswax on any tools because it picks up shards, dirt, debris, lint and when you go to use it, it will get shit all over your glass. Like reamers, f beeswax unless every time you ream a hole you want shit all over your shit. Its much worse than that tungsten crud. Do use beeswax for steel picks though.
As far as anti-rust.
You can put or store them in drawers with rust remover. In the winter, try to keep your tools in a dry space, like not getting your boots with snow in your shop or whatever and keep the moisture down. Use a dehumidifier if you dont, will help if your tools are important enough to you.
The area you live also makes a huge difference in rust. I hear flordia is the absolute worst for rust, and you cannot avoid it there, except to buy new stuff.
i use 3-in-one on my shears
The crimp shouldn't need any lube for use. A light shot of WD40 at the end of the day should keep the rust away.
nothing.... they should be fine.
