This guys mouth piece cracked/tried to explode when I was flame polishing it, I knew I should have kilned it and also forgot how I normally did things with tongs vs attaching a tube again, cut it off and carved it down a bit after these pics to look better, but I found some cracks elsewhere so now its just my fancy house piece I guess... was a fun piece too. Heavy blue startdust, over raven, over bluV, with white frit inside.

hedless you gotta be careful with all those air bubble inclusions, especially the ones stacked on top of each other.

Thanks, still working on the learning curve of trying to go deep without mucking things up, I have had some good results for the most part. Just gotta get the wet station more enclosed, and find some specific layers of colors, and carve "patterns" I like and keep working with them. Lots of ideas, just gotta put my nose to the grindstone and practice and keep doing it.

It cracked in the perc when i was adding the down stem. Tried throwing it back in the kiln at a higher temp to mend the crack and it slumped on me. The way it made the body flat was cool though. Oops, try again.
