    Default old northstar color rods

    ns05 orange
and greengold. Old stock rods circa 2005. I tried to sell these but had a few problems being too busy, and I had to guess the weight. I sold them and realized my buyer was cool, but somewhat picky and I got paranoid and backed out because i was a day late shipping and unsure if I listed the weight correctly. I started with a pound of each and have not used much at all. I will trade them only, not sell, because I have no way to weigh them. I have more than a half pound of each. what will you offer? I would like a pound of color, and I like sparkly shit, striking shit, and cadmiums. I will also trade for 4 pounds of chinese color, but I am very particular about which ones. Cobalt tube, saphire tube. I dunno, also might trade for some heavy duty diamond shears (used of course). If you want to get involved in a friendly trade, and get more than a pound of two old, hand mixed handpulled batches of color. HMU. the reason I want to trade..... I hate these two colors. they do not work for my applications and I am just not good enough to make them strike well or work well.
and I cant find the pictures. damn. I will take another pic if someone comes with a cool trade

I am only going to turn down stuff that I know I do not like. I have never tried that, or cant remember, so i would be fine with that.

I have what looks like a full lb of the MK Silver Iris
and probably a lb of MK Violet Iris

Neither iris appears to of been unwrapped so I
could get a rod of it...so I assume its a full lb each.

I will post a picture tomorrow. I cannot see why I would not choose one of these two offers. so i do not really need any more offers. I am gonna choose one of these two for sure. both seem appealing and I will talk to my partner about it and finalize the transaction tomorrow. I will have this color in the mail monday morning for sure, its already packaged for mail

if you want the momkas and have no preference..id be for splitting both..give ya half of each..so that
we both have some of each, but its your call..

The Silver Iris is a transparent purple, not affected by strong oxidizing or reducing flame,t
Get lovely blue/purple haze with annealing and nice blue wisps.

The Violet Iris a lot less silver than silver iris, but you can still get solver wisps, Great for thiick applications

    Is Cadmium the cobalts?
    If so I had Cobalt 5 ..
I'm a relative newb and haven't gotten to
try different colors, so I don't know about the ones your getting rid of.
are they easy to use, difficult etc?
I try to get a little bit of different colors to have and try to see which ones
    I like.
I do know I like the couple of transparent ones I've used, so I'd prefer to split them up so I don't get rid of a whole color, with out trying it out myself as well.

Let me know what you would like to do. If you want the chinese color..that's fine too.

IMO they are difficult to use, from another era type of colors. Things are alot more mechanized now and colors are more stable consistent and easy to work. Old school glass blowers seem to like these alot. Cadmiums are usually bright opaque colors, and they boil in an oxidizing flame. All of the crayon colors from GA for example are cadmium, These that I have are not cadmium or anything like that. they strike hard and are infused with alot of something. super pretty but not easy IMO.

    Thanks for clearing that up.
I should probably defer to your offer, since I probably don't need the colors, and would just get aggravated.
Unless you really prefer the silver or violet Iris's, it would be better probably if you traded with the other offer.
I'll still trade with you if you want though, I made an offer, Ill honor it.

The jade green breaks with every person I have seen use it lol. The emerald or lake or reg green is stable. I have seen spoons of the jade blow up before , after and during . Lol

Also the red strike , the pink and purple China tube in bigger sizes is not being run anymore . If you have bigger strike red tube hit me up I will buy a case of it and the purple.

Jade green works decent for me, and also looks really good. I just use this stuff for cheap prodo. I am familiar with what I am asking for. But I will say this. If you have strike red tube, how much of that will you trade for the NS? I am much more interested in having strike red tube, especially in a prodo size, no smaller than 32
