I have a question about this auction if you guys can help. Some kids on fb said that only the dark brown can be used to make OG moss, but I have always seen people say these could, too. Anyone know?

Only dark brown Corning gun mounts can be used.
These are light brown no go .
FYI you need at least 15-30 pounds to get a batch pulled.
Unless you can get Abe at northstar to come off some of the metric ton of dark brown mounts he is holding/hoarding

I got it straight from the inventors email about a year ago I emailed Paul about trying a batch made with boro stick brown . My cost just to see.
That's when he chatted with me about how it's the chemicals in the dark brown and the way processed that made them special .
Interesting little factoid about the dark brown mounts , is that they actually pulled tubing just to crush it down and mix with wax and other chemicals .
Then put in a huge spray tower so they could spray into molds that went through a Lear kiln to heat .
I was such a og moss head I was willing to pay for a test batch with origins brown .
I am glad Paul took 30 minutes out of his day to tell me his gun mount story as he remembers it from the first time he found them years ago .
Neat bit of color history
